Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Homemade Black Bean Burgers These homemade black bean burgers are so easy to put together, and so much tastier than store bought! The burgers cook to the perfect consistency, without being to mushy or dry. The spice mix is perfectly satisfying, you will not even miss the beef! $3.50 per serving
	Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai) A classic Thai street food meal, known as Pad Krapow Gai, boneless skinless chicken breast medallions are cut into small pieces and combined in a tangy stir fry sauce. Add some chili peppers for color and heat, and fresh basil and arugula for freshness. Serve with rice, and top it all of with a fried egg! $3.50 per serving
	Mexican Black Bean & Quinoa Bowl with Chile Cilantro Sauce This one rounds the bases! Healthy, filling, easy, attractive, you cant go wrong with vegetarian! This Black Bean and Quinoa bowl is bursting with flavor. The dressing is fantastic, and worth keeping around on its own! $3.50 per serving
	Beef Stroganoff Delicious, easy to prepare Beef Stroganoff! The version of the classic Russian dish features ground beef from Firsthand Foods, white mushrooms, fresh thyme, and a bit of red cabbage for texture! This dish is prepared in just one pan, and is perfect for any night of the week! $3.63 per serving
	Leftover Turkey Tortilla Soup Tired of turkey sandwiches and need a break from the kitchen!? This is the post Thanksgiving dish for you! This soup offers a delicious way to get through all of those turkey leftovers. It comes together quickly, is packed with flavor, and still offers plenty of food for those Thanksgiving stragglers that are still wandering around the house! $3.50 per serving
	Caldo Verde (Portuguese Potato, Kale, and Sausage Soup) Caldo Verde is a hearty, delicious, and healthy, Portuguese soup, featuring potatoes, green kale, and sausage. Traditionally, Caldo Verde is made with Portuguese Linguica, but we substitute local Andouille Sausage from Firsthand Foods as a tasty and flavor-packed local alternative! The potatoes simmer in the broth until soft, then are mashed into the broth, for a silky, creamy base. Then pack in the kale, and sauteed Andouille for a satisfying, healthy meal, that is super easy to put together! $3.50 per serving
