• Papa Spud's will deliver your box on your designated delivery day. If you love it, you can continue as a part of our community! If it is not a good fit, you can cancel your account at anytime. We send out weekly reminders, so you will not forget. Easy as that!

Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

This Week's Menu:

	Slow Cooker Tuscan Chicken Orzo with Kale and Sun-dried Tomatoes Delicious Tuscan style chicken is slow cooked in a flavor packed garlic cream sauce. The sun-dried tomatoes add a nice bit of contrast and complexity, then finish it all off with green kale and creamy orzo. This dish is so easy to prep, and makes dinner at the end of the day a snap! $3.50 per serving
	Zuppa Toscana, Italian Sausage & Kale Soup Delicious, Italian-style soup that will feed an army! Made with traditional Spicy Italian Sausage from Firsthand Foods. The soup is light, yet filling, and with so many flavors and textures it makes a full meal. An easy weeknight dinner, with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. $3.50 per serving
	Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai) A classic Thai street food meal, known as Pad Krapow Gai, boneless skinless chicken breast medallions are cut into small pieces and combined in a tangy stir fry sauce. Add some chili peppers for color and heat, and fresh basil and arugula for freshness. Serve with rice, and top it all of with a fried egg! $3.50 per serving
	Greek Tomato, Feta, Zucchini Fritters with Tzatziki These Mediterranean veggie fritters are packed with flavor and offer a variety of delicious serving options! They make a perfect summer appetizer. Or, you can enjoy them over a fresh salad or with a side of rice or lentils as a full main dish! Homemade Tzatziki makes the perfect accompaniment. A delicious dish that you will want to make over and over again! $3.50 per serving
	Bean Salad with Fresh Veggies & Herbs Fresh, healthy bean and veggie, herb salad featuring fresh, grape tomatoes and cucumbers! This salad is easy to put together, and super flexible. Any type of bean will do, and you can combine them with a wide variety of fresh herbs and veggies, a great way to use up those last few veggies in the fridge! This is a definite must-add to your go to list of healthy, delicious recipes! $3.50 per serving
