Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Szechuan Spicy Beef and Green Beans A delicious, Szechuan style street food dish full of flavor and a spicy kick, featuring local green beans and beef from Firsthand Foods! The green beans are traditionally fried in oil, but we roast them for a healthier, crisper result. They are combined with grass-fed ground beef, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and spices for a flavor packed dish. Top it off with some green onions and mung bean sprouts for a fresh crunch! Serve with rice for a full meal! $3.50 per serving
	Ginger, Garlic Infused Rice with Bok Choy and Egg The key to a tasty rice dish is infusing it with aromatics - shallot, garlic and ginger are the ultimate flavor trifecta here. This dish comes together almost as quickly as take-out but the end result is far more wholesome and tasty than any to-go dinner. This beautiful emerald green bok choy studded rice dish is guaranteed to become a fast favorite. $3.50 per serving
	Hungarian Mushroom Soup This mushroom soup is full of flavor and super easy to make! The rich broth comes together beautifully with fresh mushrooms and paprika, and is brightened and balanced by fresh herbs and lemon juice! Top it off with a dollop of sour cream for a delicious soup any night of the week! $3.50 per serving
	Rigatoni with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Squash Celebrate fresh produce with beautiful and delicious Italian flavors! This easy meal features fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes, with savory Italian sausage, zucchini, and hearty pasta. Add on a sprinkle of basil and parmesan, with ingredients this good you cannot go wrong! $3.50 per serving
	Poulet a la Moutarde, Chicken w/ Mustard This French chicken dish is rich and truly delicious. First coat the chicken in dijon mustard, brown thighs on both sides, then stir in white wine and onions for a rich creamy mustard sauce. A classic French take on very simple but quality ingredients. Serve with a side of rice and seasonal veggies. $3.50 per serving
