Fall Pie Pumpkins
You know it’s really Fall when Pie Pumpkins make their appearance on the order page! Although all pumpkins can be used for baking or cooking, pie pumpkins have a lighter weight and sweeter flesh. They make wonderful pies, but can also be steamed, boiled, roasted, sautéed, and used in soups, curries, as a side and in baking bread or cookies. The seeds can also be roasted for a delicious snack.
