Corn on the Cob
Corn on the cob isn't just a summer vegetable! Although corn season is almost over, freezing corn is a snap and allows
you to enjoy this fresh taste of summer all winter long! Start with well-formed ears of corn. Remove the husks and silk.
Drop the ears into boiling water for 9 minutes. Remove the corn ears from the boiling water and plunge them into ice
water for an equal amount of time. Drain the ears on paper towels. At this point, you can either put the entire ears
into ziploc bags and pop them into the freezer or you can remove the kernels from the ears before freezing. Removing
the kernels from the cob is easy when you use a bundt pan! To support the ear of corn while you are slicing the kernels
off the cob, place the small end into the hole of the bundt pan. Then slice down the entire length of the ear with a
paring knife. The kernels collect neatly in the bundt pan!
