Apples, Cortland, conv.
Britt Farms

Cortland apples are a sweet apple with a hint of tartness. They are great for fresh eating, and are considered very good with salads. They do not turn brown quickly when cut, so they are also a good option for fruit plates.

About Britt Farms:
We are a family owned and operated business. We started produce farming in 2007. We have a stand at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh and sell produce to various grocery stores in our area. Currently we employ five workers other than family members. We are open at the Farmers Market Monday thru Saturday each week. Our season there is April through Thanksgiving. In addition to selling at the Farmers Market, we now participate in several Community Supported Agriculture Programs.
