Sell your products in our online market
Papa Spud's is an online market for local and sustainably produced foods. Farmers, producers, and distributors use Papa Spud's to connect directly with Triangle residents and sell their products without the involvement of a supermarket or retail middle-man.
1. List your products (Free)
If you are a local and/or sustainable farmer, producer, or distributor, it is 100% free to sell your products through Papa Spud's. Simply sign up as a Papa Spud's seller and begin listing your products for direct sale to Papa Spud's members. Papa Spud's will review your listings, project sales volume, and coordinate delivery or pick-up terms with you - then list your products on our website for purchase.
2. Members order your products
After your products have been listed, Papa Spud's members will have the opportunity to include your products in their weekly delivery of local and/or sustainably produced foods. All orders are placed through the Papa Spud's website, where you will be able to monitor sales of your products.
3. Individual orders are lumped into one bulk order, and you get paid
After members have had an opportunity to customize their weekly delivery, all purchases of your products are lumped into one bulk order. You can then harvest your products AFTER you know they have been sold, and deliver the bulk order or Papa Spud's will pick it up (depending on the terms set-out when your products were listed). Customer payments are fronted and guaranteed by Papa Spud's - i.e. you get paid upon delivery. Papa Spud's takes care of packaging and distribution to individual customers.
