Asparagus and White Bean Sauce
Cannelloni beans are simmered in vegetable stock with onions and garlic, then pureed with parmesan cheese, Homeland Creamery milk, a hint of lemon zest, fresh oregano and black pepper for a creamy Alfredo sauce that is as rich and flavorful as the heavy cream version (but a little bit better for you!). Fresh asparagus is added at the end of cooking and simmered until crisp-tender. Serve over your favorite pasta!
