We have some beautiful Sage available this week from Moore's Produce. Sage is an herb with a savory, slightly peppery flavor. Sage leaves can be used fresh or dried and are are a popular seasoning in meat and poultry. An easy way to preserve herbs like sage is to freeze them in olive oil! All you do is pack chopped herbs into ice cube trays, cover herbs with olive oil, and place ice cube trays in the freezer. This way you can have freshly frozen herbs to use in cooking any time of the year!
